Please join us on November 15, 2025 as we celebrate our wedding in Saigon, Vietnam

Yya’s Story

Born and raised in the Philippines, Yya spent much of her childhood in Bataan and Pampanga, with a few years in Cavite, before her family moved to the United States. Now based in Boston, she recently graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Northeastern University and now works in Freedom Trail Clinic.

Yya’s journey has been shaped by her love for adventure, culture, and meaningful connections. From her Filipino roots to her life in the U.S., she carries with her a deep appreciation for family, tradition, and the experiences that have led her to this special moment.

Vu’s Story

Originally from Saigon, Vietnam, Vu spent his childhood immersed in the city's vibrant culture before moving to the United States at 16 to pursue his education. He later graduated from Northeastern University and now works in Boston as an EHR specialist, blending his passion for technology with healthcare.

Outside of work, Vu finds joy in cooking, constantly experimenting with flavors and perfecting new dishes. He’s also a dedicated cat lover, even though he hasn’t own a cat in his life. With a love for good food, family, and life’s little joys, Vu is excited to celebrate this special journey with those closest to him.

Our Relationship

Yya and Vu’s journey began unconventionally—through online gaming. Introduced by their mutual friend Eric (we love Eric!), they quickly became gaming buddies. But when Yya had to move back to the Philippines for her studies, she prepared to say goodbye. That’s when Vu made a bold decision—he planned to visit her while traveling to Vietnam the following summer. As they stayed in touch, their connection deepened. By the time Vu arrived in the Philippines, they already knew—they were meant for each other. Their bond felt effortless, as if they had known each other forever.

Since then, their love has only grown stronger, built on laughter, shared adventures.

Wedding Attire & Guest Guidelines

Dress Code: Elegant & Formal

Our wedding theme, Ethereal Bloom, is a soft, romantic palette inspired by English rose pink and champagne, delicately complemented by shades of lavender and light blue. These colors create a dreamy and graceful atmosphere for our celebration. To maintain the distinction of the bridal party, we kindly ask guests to avoid wearing English rose and champagne. Instead, we invite you to choose elegant attire in other complementary tones such as soft lilac, sky blue, dusty sage, or neutrals.

To keep the day cohesive and elegant, we ask all guests to dress in semi-formal to formal attire which means long, elegant dresses for women, and a suit or tuxedo for men.

Adults-Only Celebration

As much as we love children, this wedding is an adults-only event. Your precious little ones can enjoy a fun night at home while we celebrate! The only exceptions are children participating in the ceremony.
